The origins of Atelier Pato: a family workshop of Paris souvenirs

Martha has over 15 years of experience as a craftsperson specialising in decorative painting and visual arts. Her passion lies in creative transformation: she brings new creations to life from existing and discarded objects. Upcycling is at the heart of her approach.

In September 2018, the idea of a company producing local, sustainable Parisian souvenirs emerged after an article about the seizure of 20 tonnes of Eiffel Tower miniatures. Martha wondered whether these souvenirs could be made in the very heart of Paris. Her three sons, Juan Manuel, Juan David and Juan Sebastian, joined the project.

Our sustainable, local approach

The team adopted a radical approach: designing and making souvenirs in the very city they represent. To minimise environmental impact, we use eco-friendly materials: upcycled leather, recycled bottle caps and FSC®-certified paper.

The “Made in Paris” label

For several years, the City of Paris has awarded Atelier Pato its “Made in Paris” label, guaranteeing 100% Parisian, sustainable production. Certified collections include the Paris Snowflake, the Lights of Paris candle holders, the Parisian Alphabet ® and La Seine Paris.
